The Power of Being With
November 13, 2014 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (CST)
6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (MST)
Ever have difficulty being with a tantruming emotionally deregulated child? Being with requires the caregiving adult to be present to the child even when his or she is upset. Young children need their adult caregivers to help them co-regulate their emotions and behavior until they are able to do so on their own. Being With is allowing yourself to be present and mindful of your interactions with others. Join us for a journey into Being With children. It’s more about how are you doing to be, and less about what you are going to do.
