February 4, 2014 – How To Help Your Struggling Child Succeed in School
Some children may have learning, behavioral and emotional sturggles. This workshop will cover what options parent have when their child is struggling in school. Parents will learn about both regular and special education options. The 504 plan, Student Assistance Team (SAT) process, Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), Individualized Education Program (IEP) and related services will be discussed. Whatever area a child needs help in, parents can work with their schools to address the problems and help their child succeed.
