Implementing Strategies for Expanding Systems of Care
Webinar Description: With a strong history of demonstrating the effectiveness of systems of care for serving children, youth, and young adults with serious mental health challenges and their families, SAMHSA is turning its attention to strategies for expanding this approach throughout states, tribes, and territories. In response, many of these jurisdictions have created strategic plans for system of care expansion and are now moving into the implementation phase. This webinar will present a framework and guide for implementing expansion strategies, along with examples of how jurisdictions are approaching this work. In addition, the webinar will present a tool for assessing progress in implementing systems of care.
