On Friday, September 7th the Salvation Army in North Platte wants to raise money and inform the public of the numerous programs that it has to offer.
The public is invited to attend the steak sandwich luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at 1020 N. Adams Ave. Free-will donations will be accepted. Captain Jason Poff said the building would be opened up for tours, and information about the Salvation Army’s various programs would be handed out.
“It’s not a formal dinner,” he said. “People can come and go as they please.”
According to Poff, three main programs will be highlighted: the prescription program, Field of Dreams and Mission: Literacy.
